Sarıyer commands a significant premium. Older yalı mansions along the water sell for millions of dollars. Modern apartments inland start at ₺50,000 per month in rent. The district attracts senior diplomats, executives, and established Istanbul families.
Getting Around
Public transport to central Istanbul involves buses or the 25E minibuses. The lack of a direct metro line is the district's main practical drawback.
